The ask: Develop a new verbal identity and messaging toolkit for Yahoo’s rebrand as they move to integrate Ai as a part of their platform and appeal to Gen-Z users.

It is important to consider nuance when writing in the new brand voice. I had to take into consideration context, messaging, and audience in order to adjust the tone when implementing our new personality. For example, our privacy statements and conversations about AI are more straightforward and bold, however headlines in clever locations such as the cookies agreement leave room for fun wordplay.
